Frequently asked questions

Is GoofieTails free?

Yes — the core features are free. Free users can add up to 2 pets, store up to 3 documents in the vault, and ask Lily 5 questions a week. Premium unlocks unlimited pets, family sharing, unlimited Lily chatbot sessions, monthly walking stats, unlimited document uploads, and 14 vet reports per month.

What is Lily? Can it replace my vet?

Lily is your in-app AI pet companion for quick questions about diet, behavior, and care. Lily is not a veterinarian and does not provide diagnoses — always consult a qualified vet for medical decisions.

Is my data private?

Yes. We don't sell your data and there are no ads. See our Privacy Policy. You can delete your pets, logs, documents, or your whole account at any time.

How do reminders work?

Set feeding, medicine, and vaccination schedules (on the days you choose) and GoofieTails sends notifications when they're due — for all your pets. Enable notifications in iOS Settings → GoofieTails → Notifications.

How do I generate a vet health report?

In Lily, type "[pet name] pdf" (e.g. "Buddy report"). GoofieTails builds a PDF with vaccinations, medications, feeding and weight charts, saves it to that pet's Document Vault, and lets you share it. Free users get 1 / week; Premium gets 14 / month.

How do I scan a document?

Open a pet → Document Vault → Scan, and use the built-in scanner to capture vet records, prescriptions, or insurance papers straight into the app.

Which devices are supported?

iPhone (iOS [[16.6]]+). [[Android is on our roadmap.]]

How do I manage or cancel Premium?

Subscriptions are billed through Apple. Manage or cancel anytime in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: [[Settings → Delete account]], or email [[privacy@yourdomain]] and we'll remove your data within [[30]] days.

Notifications aren't arriving — what do I do?

1) iOS Settings → GoofieTails → Notifications → Allow. 2) Open the app once so reminders can sync. 3) A reminder set for a time already past today fires at the next occurrence.
