These Terms govern your use of the GoofieTails app and website ([[yourdomain]]), operated by [[Legal entity name]] ("we", "us"). By using GoofieTails you agree to them.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least [[13/16/18]] and able to form a binding contract.
2. Your account
You're responsible for your account and keeping your login secure. Tell us immediately about unauthorized use, and keep your information accurate.
3. The service
GoofieTails helps you track pet care (walks, feedings, medicines, vaccinations, weight, documents), provides an AI companion ("Lily"), generates health reports, and shows nearby places. We may add, change, or remove features over time.
4. Not veterinary advice
GoofieTails — including Lily and any generated reports — is for informational and organizational purposes only. It is not veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for a qualified veterinarian. Always seek professional care for your pet. You use any information at your own risk.
5. Subscriptions & payments
- GoofieTails offers a free tier and an optional Premium subscription, sold via the Apple App Store and managed with RevenueCat.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage/cancel in your Apple ID settings.
- Prices and limits are shown in-app and may change with notice. Refunds are handled by Apple.
6. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service: no illegal use; no attempts to break, overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer it; no uploading harmful or infringing content; no using the AI to generate unlawful content. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of content you add (pet data, photos, documents). You grant us a limited license to store and process it solely to provide the service (including sending relevant parts to our AI/storage providers as described in the Privacy Policy).
8. Intellectual property
The app, website, branding, and software are owned by us and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app.
9. Disclaimers & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for any decision made based on app/AI information. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Termination
You may stop using and delete your account anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of [[England & Wales / your jurisdiction]] and disputes are subject to its courts.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means acceptance. We'll post the new date and notify you of material changes.
